We'll begin our new year series on the Collective Community statement. This week will be big on conversation, and needs your voice and contribution. We're so excited for the new year, and this exploration of the statement that has called us forward all these years. Come as you are. All are welcome.

This week we pick up where we left off, God is love. But what does this mean as it names God, pushes past the names of God to the essence? This passage also raises the idea that love banishes fear; which sounds great in theory, but how does it work, and how do we practice this?

We said last week, love is the point and goal of our faith, tradition, and community, but it begins in you, and begs some reflection about what is going on in you. Why does it seem to be an uphill battle to live it? The letter carries us further into what this looks like and what it doesn't.
