We continue our series on Lent.

This week we'll be weaving together a number of threads, including a couple of baptisms, and an exciting report from a couple Collective folks about a recent summer theological institute. We'll make these connections through the parable of the pearl, Harry Potter, and a ship of fools. We'll ask some important questions about how faith is so often understood as a fixed commodity, a point of arrival, when faith is so often experienced as a meandering, lived in process.

Join us this week as we hear from our friend Christy Correll-Hughes, continuing our exploration of the value and contribution of women. We'll move through her story, her personal experience, and her imagery of God as mother, helping us to reimagine God through feminine imagery.

Though culture and traditional education seem obsessed with how it is that we can rightly teach children - best prepare them for the world of what they need to know - last week we began a conversation about what it is we might learn from children. This is the question of much of Eastern spirituality, and one of the most provocative images presented by Jesus. We started last week with humility and the beginner's mind. This week we go deeper into the posture and wonder of faith like a child.
